Guided motorcycle tours with Dolomites Tour Ride continue as usual
Resolution No. 495/2026 of the South Tyrolean Provincial Government, dated 19 June 2026, regulates organised motorsport events on certain sensitive road sections in South Tyrol, particularly in protected areas and high-alpine regions.
For our guests, the most important information is: the guided motorcycle tours organised by Almhof Hotel Call and Dolomites Tour Ride can continue to take place as usual.
Following a request for clarification submitted by the HGV Legal Department to the competent Provincial Office, it was confirmed that motorcycle excursions and rides of a clearly tourist nature, offered as part of an organised holiday or journey – for example by hotels or travel agencies – do not fall under the prohibition set out in Resolution No. 495/2026.
These tourist excursions therefore require neither prior authorisation nor notification. Furthermore, there is no minimum or maximum number of participants that would automatically make the resolution applicable.
Our guided motorcycle tours are organised exclusively for tourism purposes: our aim is to give our guests the opportunity to discover the spectacular mountain roads, Dolomite passes and breathtaking scenery of our home region.
